1979
ELEKTRO Electronic Collective Company was founded by the brothers Can Gür and Özcan Gür as an electronic research and development company.
1980
ELEKTRO developed and produced the marine type announcement system and the power phase failure relay product for engines.
1981
ELEKTRO has launched the world’s first Panel type Digital Power Factor Meter (Cos ).
1982
ELEKTRO introduced the Cos meter and reactive power control system as a single device to the market for the first time in Turkey.
1986
ELEKTRO entered the electronics distribution business to serve the telecommunications and consumer electronics categories.
1996
ELEKTRO acquired Alcatel Teletaş Ümraniye facilities. System 12 Digital Exchanges signed an agreement to manufacture Radio Link Systems and Payphones.
2001
KOMSA terminated its OEM agreement with Alcatel and started to develop 19” Network and Server Rack cabinets.
2002
KOMSA changed its company name to CANOVATE.
2005
CANOVATE developed aluminum chassis network and server (Network and Server) cabinets and obtained the 2nd patent in the world with these cabinets
2006
CANOVATE started to develop Passive Fiber Optic Infrastructure product family such as ODF (Fiber Optic Distribution Cabinets), Fiber Patch Panels.
2009
CANOVATE produced Turkey’s first double-sided fiber cassette ODF named Troy and was awarded the Technology Award.
2011
CANOVATE Dubai Office opened.
